By registering to join #TeamOnePunchUK in a third-party organised event, you understand and agree to the terms and conditions below:

  • You agree to pay a non-refundable registration fee to secure your entry into the event. This fee does not contribute towards your fundraising target.

  • You are medically and physically fit and understand that you take part in this event at your own risk. One Punch UK will not be held responsible for any injury or illness related to your training or taking part in this event. It is each One Punch UK Participant’s own responsibility to assess their fitness and to ensure that they participate only if sufficiently fit. Should any medical or physical condition arise prior to the Event which is likely to affect a One Punch UK Participant’s ability to compete in the Event, the One Punch UK Participant should withdraw from the Event.

  • You are on or above the minimum age stipulated by the Event Organiser.

  • You agree to meet your minimum sponsorship target and to speak with a member of the Events Team if at any point you feel that you need additional fundraising support. One Punch UK will email you to share event information, training tips, and advice to support you to reach your fundraising target.

  • It can take 8-10 weeks for a Gift Aid claim to be processed and for One Punch UK to receive the money from HMRC. For this reason, you understand that Gift Aid won’t count towards your fundraising target. However, it ensures that the charity can claim an additional 25% of all eligible donations from the government. Please let us know if you would like to find out more about Gift Aid.

  • We will use your email address to contact you with important event information and to support you as you prepare for your event.

  • If you supply your telephone number we may text you from time to time with important event information and/or use it to contact you about your application.

  • One Punch UK may use your postal address to send you an information pack and a One Punch UK running top or t-shirt, if applicable.

  • You agree to only use lawful means to fundraise and not to do anything that is likely to harm One Punch UK’ reputation.

  • If you need to withdraw from an event before the registration deadline and wish to defer your place, please notify the Events Team via ie events@onepunch.org.uk immediately. If the event organiser's policy allows, you may roll your place over to the same event the following year, subject to availability. It is One Punch UK’ policy that you can only defer your place once. Any money you have raised can also be rolled over to your future fundraising target, but you may need to pay a registration fee for the following year's event. Please be aware the cost of the fee may increase and you will be obliged to pay the updated fee cost. Please Note: Deferrals are at the sole discretion of One Punch UK. One Punch UK reserves the right to refuse a deferral.

  • It is not possible to raise funds solely for your local One Punch UK branch if your event place has been paid for by One Punch UK . In this instance, you must fundraise for One Punch UK.

  • Participation in the event is specific to each One Punch UK Participant. One Punch UK participants are strictly prohibited from swapping, selling or transferring their place in the event to another person or allowing any other person to participate in their place.

  • One Punch UK would like to use photographs, motion pictures, quotes, or any other record of your participation in the event for the purpose of marketing future events online and on print materials. If you would prefer to opt out of your data being used in this way, please email events@onepunch.org.uk

  • You understand that the event you are registering for is not organised by One Punch UK, but by a third party (“Event Organiser”). Please read any terms and conditions issued by the Event Organisers and ensure you comply with these.

  • You understand that One Punch UK may need to share your name and email address with the event organiser and where necessary, with other third parties involved in the administration of the event. You may be required to complete an additional registration form for the third-party event organiser so they can confirm your entry into the event. You agree that it is your responsibility to ensure this form is completed by the given deadline. You understand that if it is not completed your event entry may be withdrawn. We will make reasonable efforts to make you aware if this is applicable to your entry and what the deadline for completion is.

To comply with these and any further rules and requirements about fundraising, which One Punch UK notify:

  • Your actions will not incur One Punch UK any cost, claim, loss, or liability. You recognise that when you’re fundraising for One Punch UK, your actions will be linked to One Punch UK and our cause. You will not do anything to bring One Punch UK’ name into disrepute.

  • We may refuse entry, remove or exclude or cancel your place in the event if we consider that your participation in the event will bring the event, the Event Organiser or One Punch UK into disrepute or otherwise damage the reputation of One Punch UK, the Event or the Event Organiser.

  • You will take responsibility for the safekeeping of money raised in the One Punch UK name, until it is transferred to the One Punch UK.

  • You will conduct your fundraising in a respectful and positive manner and not in a way that could be seen as intrusive.

  • To only use One Punch UK’ materials and logos for the purposes of your fundraising activity.

  • You will pay One Punch UK all monies raised and return any fundraising materials within 4 weeks of your event date.
